So I really need serious advice, not some BS responses like "make money off reselling" or some bullshit, i just need to hear your guys' opinion on it.1

So in England (to all you americans, college is the same as your last 2 years of high school, except you get more qualifications)

I am currently my 4th month through college, however, i dont want to do it just for the sake of having a qualification, im taking music, yeah its okay, but i could be out here moneymaxxing, so i asked my friend, he said he can get me in his work place where you are SELF employed and pay you cash in hand ( to avoid tax) doing flat roofing, It is 26K a year, which is good for a 16 year old however my parents are saying "if you do that you'll be stuck doing that or probably end up leaving then will have no where to go"). I need to hear your guys' opinion on this, will i truly struggle to get a high paying job if i leave college now and do this one? as my goal is to earn atleast 100K a year by the time i am 25. So whats the answer, do i take it safe and get my a levels done and get a qualification, OR play it risky, get this job as a starter to moneymaxx and then somehow get a high paying job (weather thats online or not) when im older and hope to make 100k a year.

IF Yes for dropping out of college, explain why, and explain how and if i can efficiently make money when im older (100k a year) without any a level qualifications. MUST be a consisten legal way, would do illegal but too risky.

Roofing is a shit job be a sparky if your wanting good pay and not as much manual labour as the other trades, also 100,000 pounds a year is very unlikely to happen while being a collage dropout

26k might sound good for a 16yr but the best thing is to have solid foundations under your feet id say get the qualifications from college, look for jobs after and if you want 100k before 25 realistically youll have to go uni, start a business, get a lucky job offer usually from referral if you do good. (try get some work experience on your cv it looks better for employers. which will essentially allow you to get payed more as youll look like a better hiring option)
