Mandy is back with another thread, this is a very contracting claim I have but GHK-CU has to be the biggest skincare cope to exist. In this thread,we will disclose as to why exactly without much scientific backing.

First thing I’ll answer is the fact that people tell me “If it’s cope why do people see results?”. It’s a pretty simple answer that dosen’t need much thought into it.

Due to the fact that people use other chemicals to their skincare regimen, which are far more effective such as tretinoin etc which actually support the skin’s collagen and elastin unlike GHK-CU this question is simply answered. The “results” you see aren’t actually the GHK-CU

Why would GHK-CU never work?

The skin simply has a barrier called the stratum corneum that prevent large peptide molecules from passing through, this is there as a protective shield. So in meaning,If GHK-CU is injected less than 1% will actually pass through even with great liposomal carriers. [Journal of Investigative Dermatology,2022]

Lab studies, the one you commonly see on pubmed etc use concentrations up to 10% meanwhile even if you have a good source the possibility of you having just more than a concentration of 0.05% is really rare. Yes you heard right, you’re most likely having a concentration of 0.01%.

GHK-CU modulates collagen degrading enzymes but dosent promote collagen synthesis,if applied topically it would still be useless due to collagen synthesis needing compounds to reach the fibroblasts deep inside of he dermis to activate it. Injecting it dermally, meaning injecting it locally into the skin will barely help due to its poor utilization. If you’re not deficient in copper or copper utilizing enzymes you’re body will already have proper copper modulation.

The last 2 reasons why it’s cope is due to the fact that your whole body needs copper utilization, injecting GHK-CU won’t mean it will specifically target the skin, the skin on your face is also just a margin of your total skin which makes it USELESS. Even if it works for a time, the fact that your skin quickly grows densensitized to the peptide after just a few weeks of use will demolish the idea of it working full term.

I hope someone found this useful, unfortunately peptides are the biggest scam going on right now in this community. Mandy will be back with another thread soon.
