I want to thank everyone who took the time to share their perspective on my previous post. I genuinely appreciate it—it helped me more than I expected.

This is clearly something I need to work on within myself. I used to think my neurodivergence only affected me, but I’m starting to realize it also affects the people around me.

I also wanted to say something about the forum itself. In my opinion, this space should focus more on real situations related to lookism / BP, personal experiences, and genuine questions. When I wrote my post, I had a lot on my mind and, to be honest, I thought: “Why am I asking for help in a group of people that sometimes doesn’t take things seriously?” but I still did it—and it actually helped me.

Because of that, I think this forum works best when people post real, meaningful discussions instead of low-effort or repetitive questions. I understand some of them can be funny, but I think more value should be given to posts that actually share real experiences.

My post isn’t unique—it’s just another example of the same type of internal conflict people here go through. I just think it would be better if this kind of content was taken more seriously instead of diluted by low-effort threads or empty signals like “DNR” that don’t really add anything.
At the end of the day, this is a lookism forum, not a place to look “cool” or edgy by using labels without purpose.

I'm glad you did post your issues, and I'm glad you found some sort of help from us guys, I've come from Lookism NET where there was A LOT of trolling. However, whilst there was trolling, there was also help provided to people that really needed it.

I feel the community nowadays are very young and don't understand how to balance trolling and actual support, age is obviously not an issue here its just that the balance between the two has been lost in time, maybe because a lot of the OGs just left without teaching the new people how to actually run this shit properly.

I am also one of those people that left without teaching, and I regret that, I'm still young, only 20. But it was still my duty to show the younger people how to keep the balance so I do apologise as it definitely is frustrating, I'm happy you got what you were looking for bro. :BirbRave:
