As we all know,not sleeping makes your face puffy and overall makes your health inidcators stand out in a really bad way.
But the reason the opposite happens when you sleep is because there are tiny dust mites on your sheets and pillows eating away at your flesh and fat,therefore removing the fat from the inside as they dig in it with microholes unseen to the naked eye.
And also the reason your T increases when you sleep is because your body detects theese microtears and microholes so it goes into a primal fight state as you're being attacked.

No so ancient humans didn't have those benefits when sleeping since they didn't have pillows
