Hydrocortisone.
What is hydrocortisone?
What to buy?
How to apply?
Before and afters
HPA-AXIS
What is Hydrocortisone?
Hydrocortisone is a pretty weak topical corticosteroid, which is used against conditions like eczema.
We want to use it to reduce inflammation around the nose and make our alar base appear slimmer by doing so.
side effects:
Rashes (uncommon)
irritation (pretty uncommon)
What to buy?
You should buy OTC 1% hydrocortisone, available pretty much anywhere. If it doesn't work, you most probably didn't apply it right. Don't use 2,5%+ for nose purposes since it will have side effects.
How to apply?
You should take a finger tip of the amount and spread it out, don't go above the nose bridge. You should keep it on for around half an hour, then ideally you should wash it out. Skipping or forgetting it a couple of times isn't necessarily a problem. Basically just don't go above the bridge.
Before and afters.
These are my before and afters and some other peoples.
A lot of people don't notice crazy results. Most people who are already on isotretinoin won't have crazy b/a since the iso already did most of the work. So only really small changes will happen.
HPA-AXIS
Because hydrocortisone increases cortisol, it can fuck with your HPA AXIS.
When using hydrocortisone, it can increase your cortisol and that will interfere with your HPA axis. To counter this, you can take ashwaganda.
Ashwaganda is a supplement that is made to decrease cortisol. Which will cancel out the hydrocortisone effect.
Dosage: 300mg to 600mg
Cost: easily findable under 20 bucks
