A lot of people think they need MSE and get it and end up looking like pacman because they’ve widened their face too much in hopes of getting a wider maxilla, MSE is basically for relatively/moderately severe cases of crowding or fucked up bite etc. I don’t see Quad Helix being talked about enough, especially since most of the people in these forums are younger, why isn’t quad helix talked about more? It’s less aggressive compared to MSE and gives maybe 4-6 mm of expansion while mse gives 10-14 (Which is why people end up looking horrific and wide)

Definetly depends on the age of the person, but usually I would say MSE. I got it when I was 14 and it genuinely saved me
