I went to the orthodontist yesterday and got CT scans and a full evaluation for palatal expansion. The doctor was super understanding of what I wanted and she’s designing a custom appliance for me similar to a MARPE, but slightly less aggressive, while also addressing my asymmetries. I’ll also be getting a facemask and a lower anchorage screw for the rubber bands to help encourage forward growth of the maxilla and jaw.
The full treatment costs around $22k, but insurance should cover part of it. I’m supposed to get everything in about four weeks, and I’m 16
