Bone homeostasis significantly limits the magnitude of mechanotransduction changes. Without exogenous growth factors, the effects are generally modest and slow, although maybe significant in a long term.
I'll make a thread about this.
looking forward to it

me and surgerymaxx were actually discussing this yesterday, bone smashing works but you only gain scar tissue, not real "bone", and also for it to "work" you would need to take some compound that super charges collagen synthesis, even if it theoretically works, fillers are always more convenient imo.
probably the biggest trvth nvke, although its def bone
maybe my chin skin is thin enough to where i can damage the bone easily, i literally have no meat on it and a completely flat pogonion
after a certain point bonesmashing requires such force and its such a strong negative feedback loop i just cant be bothered to do it
although i will hopefully prove my chin bumps by getting my skull scanned soon

It works, and it works through the sclerostin and Wnt/β-catenin axis. Subperiosteal hematomas is a retarded theory; you won’t achieve consistent blood pooling, and even if you do it won’t lead to aesthetic results.
its light work, do it with a smaller object for smaller areas and profit
the blood pooling isnt random, it only occurs where you hit then expands outwards into a small oblate spheroid shape
elaborate on what you mean by it working through "the sclerostin and Wnt/β-catenin axis"
bone growth occurs from many different growth pathways and downregulators, sost isnt even the only one to manage you gotta inhibit dkk1 for the best results tbh

Most people won’t bother to do proper research and actually understand how can it “theoretically” work, for most people doing a conservative amount of filler it’s the best option, way more convenient for people who are not willing to have to deal with the sides of Winstrol or any other steroids that supercharges collagen synthesis, also learning to DIY fillers is not that hard, orka, dior, veridic and other users have managed to do this without any issues, and the migration risk is low when the supraperiosteal injection is done properly, also HA fillers are relatively cheap, 60$ plus the needles and syringes, the numbing cream and if u fucked yourself the hyaluronidase, ofc fillers are not a long term solution, but you could probably get some good results injecting and after 12 months dissolving and repeating, till you manage to get the money for implants ofc.

i didnt need anything to get the growth but i do agree
the bone strengthens, and constantly hitting it is just not a good experience
