As we all know, the UI is shit and is still being sorted out and is a controversial topic here. There are still questions to be answered regarding it such as, how can I follow someone?

For this thread I will use my good friend paracelsus

Step One:

I have found that following someone while active in a thread is the easiest way to follow them. If you try from your alerts it could take you straight to their profile which is unideal.

The UI is really weird in that way where if you click on their name in one place it will bring you to the ideal screen to follow but in other places it will bring you straight to their profile.

Okay, now that you're complete with step one it's smooth sailing. The rest of the steps are easy.

From step one you're going to want to click on the avi of the person you want to follow
