Accutane is significantly more effective than topical retinoids because it targets deeper layers of the dermis, rather than just the epidermis. A full course should be 150mg/kg total, and a maintenance dose after is helpful to maintain the benefits.
GHK-Cu
GHK-Cu (Glycyl-L-Histidyl-L-Lysine-Copper) is an injectable peptide that signals tissue repair and regeneration. It stimulates fibroblasts for collagen and elastin production, as well as providing mild healing and increased blood flow to the skin.
Microneedling
Microneedling is creating many small punctures in the skin, resulting in the release of growth factors, activation of fibroblasts, and subsequently long term dermal remodeling.
Microneedling pens are expensive, but worth it if you do your research and use it safely.
Radio Frequency
Research shows that exposure to radio frequencies, heating the dermis to somewhere in the range of 40-42 degrees celsius has moderate skin remodeling and tightening benefits. That said, I have yet to perform the procedure myself, and will only make a guide once I develop a reliable protocol. I will be pairing this with ultrasonic cavitation for local fat loss.
