I think we should stop generalising women so much. Obv there most women out there are really hypergamous but its really not all women and my mum for example is a really good example. My dad was a very low status a bit above average looking male but that doesn’t encounter so much because she is average looking herself and white, my dad is Mexican. And even know all the men she has been dating since her and my dad broke up have been really average looking or even below and weren’t even high status.
