deviated septum and inflamed airways making me mouth breathe at night and sometimes during the day. i swear 3 months ago my ramus was like 5mm taller and my chin was far more prominent. now my gonial angle is fucked, ramus shorter and im getting tmj. - btw im 15 is this reversible?

i will be getting a septoplasty and marpe at some point this summer but i dont see them doing much for any maxillary advancement unfortunately and i will only get mandibular advancement if i get damon braces + herbst after the expansion which would be too expensive.

i hope this shit is fixable because i need my bone structure to be ideal before i start taking androgens etc.

shitty low effort thread sorry but answers would be appreciated

alright the wording was shit and makes me sound like a retard but what i mean is that sometimes my masseters feel 10x tighter and it feels like somethings pulling my mandible up and back. my question was: could this repeated hypertonicity actually cause long-term skeletal changes — like slight mandibular retrusion, a steeper gonial angle etc. long term if i dont treat the cause now. idgaf how far fetched it sounds but when my masseters feel tight my chin almost looks recessed when i wake up in comparison to when they're relaxed. its been like 4 months of this and im just wondering if its reversible since ive found out how to fix it.
also i dont give a fuck about getting dnr'd on a fucking looksmaxxing forum jfl. ur acting as if im gonna remember this for more than 2 hours

its because you mouth breathe all night which causes temporary recession due to prolonged mouth breathing, the reason why you mouth breathe in your sleep in the first place is probably because you're recessed
