Colognecels think it is a necessity and believe it is something significant.

Most mainstream colognes smell the same and give off an indifferent, non-individualistic tone to a person.

I believe they are great for occasions, like being presentable, meeting with important people (family/loved ones), dates, etc.

I think everyday usage is stupid. Dudes will go to school and dump 10 sprays of a putrid scent and believe it will improve his perception from others.
