If you're in a small city, and realistically only interact with 200-300 people, what would the ideal amount of followers be for you to be seen as a somewhat higher end status person in the city?

Obviously you're not going to be seen as high status just from follower count, but it can help.

In my eyes anything over 1.2k and it becomes somewhat obvious you're botting

any high following with u barely following anyone would be a cool aesthetic, get around 1k with follow backs and just unfollow every random, u will get glazed so much, also if someone goes through ur followers, its gonna be obvious theyre botted

Most appealing I’d say, is around 1.1-1.2k, but it depends on how many likes your posts usually get.

I mean, that's my follower count. I think it's perfect. Non-botted, get around 300-450 likes a post.

imo the ratio is whats pleasing, the more u have the more obnoxious you will seem,

I think a 3:1 follower to following ratio is the best

Nonetheless if you're not posting content or media then 500 is a good figure. If you're posting on instagram or running a mini business off it then yeh 1k+

if you follow 500 people then having a 1:1 ratio is ideal as it shows you genuinely know people, which is a status boost, so 500 followers: 498 following for example. But if you're posting content then 1k+ with following no more than 300

If you are well known in your area since you said its a small city only follow and accept people you know this makes you look valuable like 200-300 range if not then 800~ is good makes you look social.
