The forum is pretty dead right now, so I guess this is my attempt at posting something.

For me, a “perfect” relationship isn’t about status, looks, or anything extreme. It’s more about something stable, calm, and long-term, where both people can just exist together without constant tension or overthinking. (I know this is water)

That’s why I often think about Mac DeMarco and Kiki as an example of the kind of relationship I would personally want. Not because I know their life in detail, but because from the outside it looks like something grounded and natural, without that constant feeling of comparison or instability.

I also like the idea of a relationship where life feels simple. Where you can spend time together, go through normal routines, and it still feels meaningful without needing it to be intense all the time.

In my opinion, that kind of calm consistency is closer to “perfect” than anything flashy or idealized. I’m aware this is idealized from what I can see.

What kind of relationship do you consider ideal, or what relationship do you see and genuinely admire?
