they really had a tremendous run in the 2000s of putting out good movies
i legitimately think ratatouille is like a top 25 movie of all time for example
i looked them up and apparently some of their recent creations (soul, encanto) have won awards and decent critical reception, but nothing that felt on the scale of the older movies. did anyone watch these and were they actually good? i saw that they centered around niggers and spics and it immediately made me queasy
i dunno even if someone tells me they’re good i still feel like they don’t have the same level of aura as their older movies
frozen had insane hype around it but to me this was just like exclusively a movie designed to excite young girls and lacked universal appeal

so question: is pixar still legit, and if not what happened? was it really just being overrun by ethnics and “wokeism”? this seems like a weak argument idk

i really hate it when movies try to imply that silent diversity, its been long since i have watched a new movie where (if given there is a lover couple) the Main Characters are white and black or for some reason woke centred or headed towards leftist politics, i just dont find it very appealing to watch movies with a heavy one sided political point of view
