What are androgen receptors?
Androgen receptors are proteins inside your cells that respond to androgens like testosterone and DHT.
Hormones don't do anything unless they bind to these receptors.

If receptor sensitivity is low or density no matter how much test you have it still wont do much receptors matter as much as the levels.

DHT binds to androgen receptors 3-5x stronger than testosterone this is why DHT has strong effects on facial development and body hair

High AR density are in:
muscles
bones
jaw
facial tissue
vocal cords
hair follicles
brain

This is why androgens affect strenght voice, face, libido, and behaviour

What reduces AR function?
high cortisol
inflammation
nutrient deficiencies
endocrine disruptors

Activity
So far there's no one here
