No1 rule of male dimorphism:
downgrowth is law. ofc newgens will read this and not understand the importance of downgrowth because in their mind: forward growth good, downgrowth bad.
They can exist at the same time its not 1 or the other, just look at Sean O Pry, he is slightly down grown but has better maxilla projection than JB.
androgens make your jaws taller (downgrowth) but it also makes them wider so it wouldn't look recessed. Everything has a balance, no downgrowth would lead to low fhwr, overly high fwhr, small chin, short/squished midface, overly high jfa etc which are all female features. Too much downgrowth is obviously bad and recession would be when the face is narrow.

Examples of downgrowth increasing dimorphism:

JB is not that low in terms of dimorphism but that's only because he makes up for it in everything else. Someone squished with less halos like clavicular it is more noticeable.

2ND rule of dimorphism:
huge skull is law, practically everything in the male skull is bigger so the larger the skull the more dimorphic.

3RD rule of dimorphism:
mandible is everything, it is the 1 bone that is gonna make you look masc as fuck. Developed women still have high fwhr and robustness but they will have very flat mandibles, whereas men have lower jfa. Idiots on tiktok think high jfa is masc and low jfa is fem but that's just stupid.

Babies have like a 150 degree jfa but men will have taller chins which means the jfa is lower, ofc it should stick in the ideal range of ~85-90, Hexums however is overly narrow but retains dimorphism. So tall chins and tall philtrums too, unlike what retards on tiktok believe (higher androgen exposure means taller + wider philtrums) increase dimorphism. While a lower jfa is usually more masc you don't want a pointy/sharp chin. Androgens will also increase squareness and width of the chin so someone like Simon Nessman has a less dimorphic jaw compared to Hexum.

4th rule of dimorphism:
A compact fwhr is important for dimorphism however fwhr is not consistently higher in men and women and serves as a better indicator of being developed than being masculine.

1780271378470.png

Still fwhr should be high because androgens make the skull taller AND wider. The ideal range is around 1.8-2.0 but it varies significantly between the rater. Overly high fwhr can seriously tank dimorphism (refer back to JB)

5TH law of dimorphism:
Tall skull is law, a taller skull (not overly tall) is extremely important for dimorphism. The picture above also shows this with men having taller fwhr-lower (fwhr including the height of the jaw), lower cheekbone height, and a higher lower/fullface ratio.

examples of very high dimo tall skull chads:
1780271736670.png

1780271753813.png

Ideally in terms of facial thirds the lower third should be 36% of face height, middle third and upper third should be 32-34 and middle third should be slightly taller than upper third but this does not matter much as long as both are 32-34%.

Other features that indicate high dimorphism:
Like I said before virtually every bone in the face is bigger in male skulls compared to female skulls. This also means men have higher ICD (avg ipd being 64mm in men and 62mm in women). However ESR is a lot lower in men due to wider skulls.

Men also have taller but even wider noses than woman so a shorter nose height to width is more masculine.

Thicker and lower eyebrows are also more masculine in men, same with longer and thicker eyelashes. Testosterone also makes the eyebrows wider and straighter.

Women tend to have fuller lips compared to men but this doesn't matter much.

Overall conclusion:
Men and women are more similar in skulls than people like to think and if you rated Adriana Lima with the male ideals she would score higher than everyone reading this thread. The main masc features are jaw height and overall skull size, everything else still matters though but not as much. A lot of people confuse good development with high male dimorphism and low female dimorphism but this just isn't true, someone like Valeria Mazza is still obviously female and very appealing.

The most dimorphic face recorded is Cameron Alborzian though some will say Hernan Drago.
Cameron Alborzian has a higher, but still perfect, esr than Hernan and Hernan also has a taller chin, though his ctp is flawed due to this.
Cameron makes up for it with his skull height (Hernan's is 1.3 which is unideal and Cameron's is 1.38 which is borderline ideal), his taller midface and wider, squarer chin.

downgrowth is so underrated , you will never appear masculine if you don't have a good ramus or long facial thirds
