Need input from people who actually understand peptide stability / injectables.

Here’s my situation:

  • I reconstituted teriparatide with bacteriostatic water for injection
  • Used it for ~8 injections
  • Then didn’t touch it for a bit over a month
  • It’s been stored in the fridge the whole time
  • The solution still looks completely clear (no particles, no cloudiness)
From what I’ve read, reconstituted solutions are often said to be good for ~28 days, even with bacteriostatic water. So now I’m unsure:

  1. Is the compound likely degraded to the point where it’s basically ineffective?
  2. Or is it still usable if it looks fine?
  3. Would increasing the dose make any sense if potency dropped, or is that a bad idea?
Second part:

  • I also have another vial of teriparatide in dry (powder) form
  • It’s been stored in the fridge for ~3 months, unopened
  • The bacteriostatic water I previously used has been opened and sitting at room temp for over a month
So:

  1. Is that bacteriostatic water still safe to use for a new reconstitution?
  2. Or should I just get a new vial of water and start clean?

    Appreciate any informed input.

The unreconstituted vial would be fine but use a different vial of bac water since its shelf life is 28 days after opening

Okay, thank you. My main concern now is that how do i properly use bacteriostatic water? Because the one that i can order is like 30ml, i physically can't use it in 28 days. For teriparatide on 1 vial i spend aproximattely 1.5ml which is enough for 1~ month. Should i use remaining 28,5 ml for other compounds such as HGH or any other peptides? Because normally i reconstitute other compounds with normal bac water.
