I've been using a Tretinoin cream, 0.05% every night for approximately 6 months. Should I get a new prescription of 0.08%-0.1% or should I just take accutane? The reasons I'm hesitant to do accutane is because I play football and track, so big knee issues. I'm not sure if it gets passed down, but 2 of my uncles took accutane as a kid and they both had bad back pain and now have arthritis.

I see some lightness in the corner of your hairline perhaps taking dustasteride to prevent further hair loss would be beneficial and it will help for your acne (Only do it if you are 18+)

i would also start to use 0.5-1mg of dutasteride or a topical androgen blocker like RU5841 or clascosterone to avoid getting raped by the norwood reaper. i think you can start low 5-10mg isotretinoin, id start with 5mg as this isn't that bad.

use topical dht blockers if ur not 18 yet

i mean, you can start with 5mg of isotret, for the hairline if you are below 18 i would just use RU5841 or clascosterone paired with topical/oral minoxidil.

it's better to prevent it, it's one of those things that wont hurt if you do it for prevention anyways.
