I’m thinking of starting to take magnesium glycinate supplements. People that have taken it, or still do, what benefits did you get from it, are there any bad side effects, how much should I take, should I pair it with any other supplements? Is it worth it?

It can be used for relaxation and sleep as well as muscle function and can reduce inflammation in skin, improves hydration, strengthening the skin barrier and supporting collagen to name a few as for side effects, nausea but that's pretty common when dealing with supplements as well as altered bowel movements and maybe bloating. You should take like 400 mg

You should pair it with vitamin D or B vitamins, or L-theanine

Mark as solution through checkmark 🙏

Good for the nervous system, especially when you have an under active or overactive nervous system. Pairing it with other minerals such as potassium can help your body relax but make sure to take a higher dose than usual since the absorption is not top tier. Hard to find magnesium in many sources so supplementation is quite good.
