The general consensus on this forum is that androgens will ALWAYS lead to shorter FAH which is simply not the case,

However before we go into this we need to understand growth plate fusion.

Growth plate fusion is the natural process that brings your bone growth to a final end. When you are growing up, your long bones have special areas of soft cartilage near the ends that expand to make you taller. As you go through the later stages of puberty, hormonal changes signal these cartilage cells to stop dividing. Bone building cells then step in to replace that soft tissue with solid, mature bone. Once the area completely hardens, the growth zones close up for good, leaving only a faint line behind and setting your permanent adult height.

This process is caused my estradiol which is the primary factor of fusion.

Now if you take androgens the only way they could cause fusion (non aromatizing) is via bone maturation, however since e2 is the primary driver bone maturation barley makes a dent in speeding up the process. And infact could lead to an increased FAH.

I'm pretty sure your referring to castration before puberty which lead to a lot taller models; this is due to low test converting into low amounts of e2

yeah it can happen with castration but also sexual development conditions like klinefelters. if you dont care about all the other issues that come with it and just want to be tall, you should honestly take anti androgens and a low dose of T when youre growing up and then you can be pretty tall which is good if you ignore the fact that youre infertile and look like a eunuch now

Haven't heard about it but tbh i have theorized that you could take t blockers and use non aromatizing androgens as a replacement if done from early
