The man at the top of the stairs has security and reassurance he'll stay there; he's completed the ever-so dangerous journey to the top, cementing himself in his comfortable position. However, the man at the bottom of the stairs has everything to gain, and everything to lose. He's at the feet of paradise — forever dreaming of accession. When he walks up? Danger, sorrow, and interference. He's halted by numerous forces; mind, body, man. For the individuals at the top will not accept the perceived interiors to. taint their home — ensuring the trip remains harsh. The mind weakens; overwhelmed by the complexity & risk. Falling to the bottom each time, never reaching the land beyond. Incremental frustration poisons man, his desires remaining unfulfilled. Those who've completed the pilgrimage, how lucky. "I'll remain in my throne, and cut the necks of those who oppose my power"
