What do you all think about tooth extractions — for example, premolars, which are actually some of the most important teeth for facial development and aesthetics? I had mine removed when I was 14, and I really wish I could go back in time.:wojakcry:

Removing wisdom teeth will affect your mandibular negatively making it significantly shorter, tbh u should never Remove teeth if possible its a unnecessary and painful Process with nothing to gain from you will look fucked up for some weeks months whatever because of swelling etc

Agreed. I really dislike how some orthodontists seem to focus only on straight teeth and a correct bite, without paying enough attention to aesthetics or how treatment affects a child’s facial development.

im pretty sure removing wisdom teeth doesn't cause much harm.

i asked 3 dentists (family friend & 2 uncles) and all said it doesn't do shit. I even asked RSM and he said it's okay to remove them.

but logically one should get them removed only if they're impacted cuz keeping them will cause more harm than good.
