Part 2- Working together at school
After talking occasionally during recess for a while, a holiday arrived in my country, the same day I had spent with GAVA a year earlier (or rather, it was the day GAVA showed me the most that she loved me, I won't go into that now). Well, I thought it would be a good idea to spend it with anny, taking inspiration from that time with GAVA. When we were sitting together, I noticed the difference between Anny and GAVA. Instead of putting her head on my shoulder (which made me tremble), she and I talked about personal things (or rather, she told me things; I never talk about personal things). She told me how she lived alone with her siblings because her father was always at work (he worked as a boat guard, spending 15 days on and 3 days off at home), and her mother had divorced him, so she lived with another family. I liked that she was the one who did the "mother" role at home because she was the one who did the housework and all that. I asked her about dishes that I found difficult to make, and she told me she had made those meals a few days before. It wasn't what I expected, but that day I got to see what she was like at home. Later, before dismissal time, she asked me to walk her home (something I had never done before). I said okay, and when we were arriving at her house, we ran into her siblings and a woman who wanted them to go back to a church she was attending for an event. She invited me too (I don't like going to church events), but I agreed to go. However, on the day of the event, something happened with her father, and they wouldn't let her go, so I didn't. I continued walking her home for a while, occasionally asking if she wanted me to buy her something to eat on the way. She would ask for simple things: bread, fruit, things we could find at the stores outside the school. I was terrified every time I asked this because if she told me something was more expensive, I couldn't pay it, lol. Knowing I didn't have any money, I decided to sell things at school. I'd been selling things since I was a kid; it was normal for me (my whole class knew that if I came with a container, it was because I was going to sell, so I didn't have to advertise). What I didn't expect was that one day, while I was selling, she came up to me and said, "Hey, I found some friends of mine who want to buy from you." SHE HELPED ME SELL. I know it might sound a little silly, but it meant a lot to me, seeing her running towards me with open arms, saying, "Hey, my friends want to buy from you." After each day, when I earned $10-15, we'd go out and buy more substantial food.
We were thinking about collecting the leftover money because next month a fair was going to start near the school where they would put up rides and so on, and we were thinking about which rides we were going to go on and so forth.
