Has anyone used tazarotene? And what effects did u experience

I’ve used tazarotene, at first my skin got pretty dry, red, and flaky. After sticking with it for a while with. moisturizer, my acne started to calm down and my skin texture became way more smoother, but it definitely takes sum patience and consistent sunscreen use.
