Base Routine
Cleansing
Just use a simple non fragrance Dove Bar soap if you have normal skin. If your skin is sensitive, I recommend a gentle cleanser like this (Insert Vanicream image)
Moisturizer
If you’re acne prone use a non-comedogenic moisturizer rather than the nivea blue tin cream for example. If you don’t have acne and don’t get pimples when you use a comedogenic moisturizer, consider using it especially if you’re on a Retinoid.

Topical Retinoids
These can treat Photo aging, Hyperpigmentation, Oily skin, Acne, Bad skin texture, and Collagen loss.
Tazarotene
Strongest topical Retinoid available and the best one if you can tolerate it has slightly more potential for irritation than Tretinoin but is more potent and works faster.
Tretinoin
Slightly weaker than tazarotene but still a great option for its affordability (I got it for 1$ per tube on India Mart) and reliability.
Accutane
This is the holy grail of skincare. Accutane works as a systemic Retinoid and terra-mogs taz/tret in every department except anti-aging. This drug is effective for clearing up Acne and reducing Sebum. This is a must if you have any acne at all.
Azelaic Acid
This can treat Hyperpigmentation, Acne scars, Rosacea, and reduce Acne. This has a 15% and 20% formulation.
Anti Androgens
These stop androgens from destroying the skin and reduce sebum.

Kx-826
Safer option than RU-58841 and is a very effective anti-androgen.

RU-58841
Most potent anti Androgen on the market but can be very irritating to the skin when applied.

CB-03-01/Clascosterone
This is FDA approved as a 1% Cream for acne Savings | WINLEVI® (clascoterone) cream 1% for HCPs and is your safest bet if you don’t want to run the other AA’s.

Dutasteride
This is an Oral type 1 & 2 Five Alpha Reductase Inhibitor which blocks the production of DHT. The type two Alpha reductase Inhibitor is the main one that affects the skin. By blocking DHT, you can internally stop Androgens from fucking you over.

Estriol and Estradiol Cream
These make the skin less rough by stimulating Collagen production and treating photo aging.

Shitty thread but I'm tired now so forgive me.

Wait, the RU data is wrong, KX actually mogs RU when it comes to binding affinity and potency, and lowk I would’ve also gone deeper into explaining the mechanism of each of this products and from which pathways they work but nice

very simple tbh, KX has more data, passed phase 3 trials, has a way higher binding affinity to the androgen receptor, no systemic effect observed, cleaner mechanism and overall just mogs RU on every single aspect besides price. Simple as that.
