I look good in the mirror and in selfies but in back camera videos and photos I look like shit. Why does this happen bro or am i just fucking ugly lowkey

You're not familiar with your real version, you're used to seeing yourself in the mirror, ts is water but like mirror inverts the image,

And yea if you're already like Ltn, it's way worse cuz you'll notice your flaws even more when you see a flipped candid photo (which is the real you).

But other ppl irl are used to seeing you like that (they'll notice your asymmetries, more in selfies)

Also the solution to this is to always take more photos with back camera and less selfies, make yourself used to seeing your real version, I've tested this on myself.

When I was 13ish, I flipped a selfie of mine and I freaked the fuck out, I wanted to cry cuz I looked ugly asf, but over the years I took more and more rear camera photos and now I'm used to seeing myself in that version (in fact sometimes I like it more than selfies)

in the mirror i look pretty lean asw probably cuz i unconsciously cheekbite a little + the lighting, while in candid photos i dont and my face looks awful. lean is law

im 18% bodyfat so yeah there's work to be done i gotta reach 10%

but i also gotta gain some muscle so thats gonna be hard

Same, I'm around 18-20%bf too and my fat storing genes are dogshit, i retain too much fat on face, but I don't wanna do a calorie deficit rn cuz I'm 16

And the shitty stuff is that I can't even train muscles or exercise rn, I had a brutal accident in march, had multiple injuries and my muscles still haven't recovered ffs
