The Mechanism of Action of Primobolan as an AI: Known as methenolone, Primobolan is an anabolic steroid with a DHT base that was originally developed in the 1960s for use in treating wasting muscles, recovery, and other conditions. Though there is currently no therapeutic use of Primobolan that is officially recognized, Primobolan has become popular with many users for its ability to produce consistent outcomes with minimal side effects.
The structural composition of Primobolan is a factor in the way it works. The ethyl side chain at carbon atom 1 inhibits the conversion of Primobolan to estrogen which means it does not produce the aforementioned results. Primobolan works in conjunction with the androgen receptor for long-term protein building. It can provide significant enhancement to protein synthesis without producing rapid elevations in testosterone levels or any form of water retention as a result of taking it.
Combining Primobolan and Testosterone creates a lower amount of aromatizing substrate in the body while creating a more "cleansed" internal environment. In addition, DHT signalling may help decrease local aromatase production in breast and fat tissues, allowing estrogen to still perform its function without causing a spike in estrogen levels.
