Why does Nietzsche say happiness is in strive, using one’s power to overcome difficulties.
What if someone only feels depressed and anxious, what if that’s how they feel when they try to overcome obstacles, which is literally disproving that happiness is striving.
He also says that the greatest happiness is gained through greatest pains. How would someone who is anxious, which has to do with the pain feel better later on.
He ignores the endless amount of challenges that life has, this all sounds good but it only appeals to people who have the ability to change, tell some dude in a wheelchair to run a marathon.
Life’s pleasures aren’t in pain because people who don’t have to go through the pain to achieve pleasure are always in a constant of pleasure.Same goes for people who’s pain is caused by stuff they can’t control.
