I don’t really get the hate toward "tiktok newgens". Yeah, some of their posts are dumb but they’re also funny, and most of those users don’t even stick around. They make one post, get raped, and disappear.Meanwhile, the people complaining are often the same ones spending hours every day in off-topic threads, talking to the same small circle. It’s hard to take criticism seriously when it’s coming from people who aren’t contributing anything meaningful themselves.If anything, the focus should be on improving the quality of content. Imagine if those active users put effort into research or useful discussions instead of just shitposting.A possible fix would be restricting reputation gains to specific sections of the forum. That could push people to actually contribute something valuable instead of just farming rep.(Stole that idea from somebody but i don't know who anymore.)
