How do you permanently debloat? Other than having a strict low inflammation diet with perfect electrolyte balance timed around your physical activity, there are other factors at play like the mineralocorticoid receptor. The MR pathway regulates fluid homeostasis and electrolyte balance in the body.

This pathway extends from the hypothalamus producing corticotropin releasing hormone downstream to aldosterone, your adrenals, and even your thirst mechanism. There are several causes for bloating like anabolics up regulating angiotensin 2 and androgen mineralocorticoid interactions.

Testosterone aromatises into estradiol, increasing renin angiotensin aldosterone, further amplifying the action of aldosterone itself. We can potentially mitigate these interactions with the selective MR antagonist eplerenone. Eplerenone blocks aldosterone without signalling progesterone and other androgens, unlike other non selective MR antagonists.

This interrupts the RAAS System which can become overactive with the use of anabolics and high estrogen, increasing natriuresis and sodium and water excretion. This is not one of those COPE debloating techniques like some other methods, *cough* d-bloat *cough*
