Not really. If youre eating at a deficit, yes ofc, but if you eat above tdee while working out, it can be smooth. Im just trying to find consistency bcs my weight fluctuated a bit before.

im 20% bf but I can't risk fucking up growth by cutting aggressively.
but I gotta do it somehow
Yeah I should have added a caveat abt not cutting before growth ends. Lifting with a surplus can get you far enough for now. Gaining muscle takes a lot more time and work than losing fat anyway

this is a myth, as long as you are not just in a ridiculous deficit, your body uses given calories for main bodily functions first and foremost

should i go in a 200-300 cal deficit then? i need to reach atleast 13-14% by march of next year.

so from 2-2.5k cal/day i bring it down to ~1.75k and walk 10k steps. what can i expect from this
if you arent 5'9 or anorexic, eating 2k cals on top of maybe 30 mins of cardio twice a week and daily 10k steps, you will be fine. you just need to be patient, its consistency which is most important
