@Staff add a separate section for journaling on this forum. Most looksmax questions are either pointless or just one Google search away. I’m trying to encourage more journaling here so the forum doesn’t get filled with low-quality posts. Journaling is honestly one of the best types of content this place could have. It’s arguably more valuable than standard looksmax content, as it creates space for reflection, external input, and support.

i don’t really think a journalling section is necessary bcuz peole already journal on offtopic.

That’s exactly why it should have its own section. Off-topic gets flooded with all kinds of posts, low-effort, jfl, and just general stuff, so journaling gets buried and loses its purpose. If it had a dedicated space, it would actually create a room for reflection and real feedback. People get heard and can receive a second perspective, which is what actually leads to improvement. So separating it wouldn’t make it worse, it would organize the forum better and improve the overall quality.
