You dont get any projection at 18 because midfacial projection is already done by 14 [see meta analysis] however no male participants even >17yo showed Stage D/E maturation (complete fusion) of the palatine/maxillary region [study on maxillary maturation] this wont help you with projection or width (also one by 14/15) tho just get lefort1

You can grow bones past sutures closure, idk about any noticeable projection tho
