I do. But a subforum would be necessary, since the concept i layed out doesn't display their posts on the "New posts" tab (Due to spam) their posts would have no other way of being seen. And sure, i agree on the acceptance message but these aren't public. And it's not like you ask questions on your acceptance message.

And your second point, yes i totally agree? that's pretty much my entire idea. A place for new users to get the idea of a forum, ask questions & learn a high-effort posting manner. Which also benefits as a quality control net.

Exactly, yes. The whole idea is just a user friendly introduction for people to learn the basic idea of the forum, understand basic high-effort posting manner & test users on their ability to be a net postive on the forum.
Since the majority of new users first hundred or so posts are just question after question with no clear goal in sight for people to provide genuinely helpful information.

Administrator should add the aforementioned, it'd be a good start for new users to introduce themselves and lay out their goals. You can't blame half the niggas for making low effort "Rate me" threads when there's nothing else truly familiar (To a tiktok audience). Ofc, it shouldn't appear in "New posts" tab since spam, but on the homepage for eager members to interact with new users. It'd also let people familiarise with forum navigation I'd imagine. Infact it'd be even better if it was a mandatory step in account creation; restricting forum access until a post is made. This would also serve as a extra net to filter out low effort shit posters.

Ngl kinda ok idea(no effense) because other than mods, most will not go in this subforum to read some introduction about random ppl. It's kinda like the rating subforum, personally I rarely go in there cause it's uninteresting. Full of guy that make it hard to rate them (and be serious) cause they don't want interact with you (even though you wanna help), it kinda make we want to troll sometimes(idk if that's just me, kinda rare to see someone thankfull or just interact on his post with allat more info about him, make it easier to help his ass).
But we could make a quota of character or words to surpass for newcomers in their 1st post. If it's slop, just delete the message and tell them to redo it (mods will work allat). Could mitigate slopper poster, but it doesn't really help non-rotters. What I proposed is not supa great ngl.

Spam is kinda a double edge sword, it does make the site grow in number of users and threads but at the expense of quality.
It's more excepted nowadays as looksmaxing is growing and reaching newer audiencesit does make it hard to maintain good quality ppl and threads etc.
My idea is not super great tho. If you could elaborate a tad more on the spam thingy, it would be helpful for me(or us) so that we could find more ideas and share it to mitigate it.
