Ah I see,I do. But a subforum would be necessary, since the concept i layed out doesn't display their posts on the "New posts" tab (Due to spam) their posts would have no other way of being seen. And sure, i agree on the acceptance message but these aren't public. And it's not like you ask questions on your acceptance message.
And your second point, yes i totally agree? that's pretty much my entire idea. A place for new users to get the idea of a forum, ask questions & learn a high-effort posting manner. Which also benefits as a quality control net.
So you're saying their doubts about basic questions need to be cleared in their first post so that they can move on?
it does make it hard to maintain good quality ppl and threads etc.
