What is equipoise? Intro to eq in depth…ish for newbies
Equipoise/ Boldenone undecylenate
otherwise known as “eq” is an anabolic steroid testosterone derivative. Usually used as a “second steroid” to bodybuilders cycles.
How does it work?
Known for its lean, and drier look. Equipoise
Chemical structure is quite similar to that of testosterone, however one key difference is how it aromatizes into estrogen compared to that of testosterone. Eq has a much higher affinity to the aromatase enzyme that turns testosterone to estrogen. Acting as a substrate to the enzyme over testosterone, aromatizes half the speed and half the amount of actual estrogen than testosterone. Due to this it is referred to as an “anabolic ai” so an ai won’t be needed if ran, significantly reducing e2 hence giving that dry lean muscle look. it is commonly stacked with testosterone due to its muscle building effects and more anabolic effects rather than androgenic. Eq will increase red blood cell count contributing to that veiny vascular look often referred to from the better oxygen delivery.
What are the side effects?
Eq due to occupying the aromatase enzyme much longer and only expending half the amount of estrogen conversion than that of testosterone can have negative effects on e2 levels. With a half life of 14 days and saturation of eq taking around 8 weeks. Once it is in one’s system it is hard to tell how the body truly feels and reacts to the steroid, especially if negatively it takes even longer to exit one’s system. Due to being an anabolic steroid it will suppress natural testosterone as well, if choosing to come off to begin a pct. It could take up to around 40-50 days before able to begin without eq interfering the pct through the hpta. Typically recommended to have a 2.5-2:1 ratio of testosterone to eq to not experience extreme low e2 side effects
Real quick pros and cons!
Pros.

Real quick pros and cons!
Pros.
- Increase muscle building and recovery
- Won’t cause balding
- Decrease estrogen
- Better blood cell count
- Veiny dry look
Cons.
- Decrease natural testosterone
- Hard to come off due to long half life
- Common to experience negative low e2 effects if not careful
- Blood clotting (red blood cell count) + more
- Hpta/hpg axis suppression

too experimental and not worth how long it takes to see if it works. Just made this intro to help educate others while also educating myself + retain more of the information
