Your school name makes way bigger difference than it ever did before n lets think about from a hiring manager POV, when they see thousand's resume's, there not going to read all of them, so they will simply use ATS (application tracking system) to sort via school name. n than read from there
All the copes about projects n leetcode is from 2022, school name maxing is by far highest ROI thing you can do right now.
Doing Hackathons helps as its something you can attach on your resume that makes them think your a sweat
Linkdin is also cope unless again you go to a good school, no one is opening your message if they see the school isnt sweaty enough for there liking. It almost feels like tinder dating again.
People say "oh jus network" but when you go to a super good school, your school name is your fucking network so people will reach out to you
