If men were responsible for developing, modernizing, and building much of the world as we know it today, why do some women place so much emphasis on their own accomplishments? Are these achievements significant when compared to the historical contributions that shaped modern society? Why is there a desire to celebrate them so prominently?

Yes, but in this context im talking about how women will try to talk about their inventions as if we wouldnt survive in todays society without it. I understand the human want for recognition but I just dont understand the psychology of how they can even try to compare.
