Lately I’ve been thinking about something kinda weird. I always thought I hated myself, the way I look, the way I act, everything.
But the more I pay attention, the more I think I don’t actually hate me.
I hate how people treat me.
I hate feeling like I’m always the last pick, the backup plan, the “oh he’s cool but…” option.
When I’m alone, I’m actually fine. I like my sense of humor, I like the things I enjoy, I like the way I think.
It’s only when I’m around people that I start feeling like I’m not enough.
Anyone else ever realize something like this?
Is this normal or am I just overthinking again?
