I wish NASA was exempt from governmental nickel and diming, and that people would stop fussing over random shit that has no relevance to them, it isn’t new, it isn’t great, it’s nothing. I don’t care that humans most definitely will not become large scale spacefaring species in my lifetime, but i will advance that goal with every fiber of my being, humanity distracts itself so much, pioneering is the only thing i truly love. when i am 20, i will go to alaska and climb one of the few hundred virgin peaks left in the world, just to pioneer, as lewis and clarke, armstrong and aldrin once did, thought it will pale in comparison to their great feats

why must the military spend trillions on arms just to be losing to iran? also no one wants war, it just divides more and more and more, in a way, it is a neanderthal thing, it sets humanity back by turning our smartest against each other, in my opinion the cold war was a good thing, the scientific and technological advancement was so rapid, it would not have happened without that competition, i hope the chinese get to the moon before we do so america finally snaps out of its feeble minded fervor and reaches for the stars again
