Normies try to have this extremely deep friendships and it makes me wonder why? humans arent built to have these powerful friendships like every other animal in nature, we stayed in groups because we wanted to live and move forward not so that we can sulk in misery together. The average friendship that a normie has will almost 90% of the time end because we lack the complexity to be friendly with everyone and can only true connect with about 5% of the rest the population with the other 5% being people that we can somewhat deal with without going mad, the other 90% are people who we cannot stand yet they still make connections with them because they share some form of misery together. This isnt to say that humans can't have friendships and social bonds but normies make them much more complex then need be in the end most of us will live and die alone because thats how our mind works. Social status is a hierarchy of who has more "friends" but normally the one at the top doesnt have that many friends and just has a bunch of followers and others follow the followers because they are all sheep.

Humans are inherenly social creatures, modern day socializing is with people we don't know

in nature we almost never connect with anyone beyond our family

High IQ post. Most normies are just miserymaxxing in groups because they can't face biological determinism.

That 'deep friendship' arc is just a bluepill cope to distract from the fact that 90% of their circle are just low-tier orbiters or NPCs they secretly can't stand

water, but also not totally true, deep friendships can occur; they are just rare and require more effort than most are willing to put in. I have one true friend, whom I've been friends with my entire life (our parents were friends). While rare, these connections are very rewarding.
