Metabolically,light or intense activity,carbohydrates always dominate.
Yes as they are the “first responders” but if we were to not do any strenuous activity we wouldn’t need it but obviously if you’re being active it wouldn’t work

You should ideally be active,acutely stressed a few times a week. And it’s not just muscle ATP,brain ATP. Brain ATP is primarily fatty acids and ketones,but the flaw is that in high concentration peripheral and cognitive strain like intense thinking your brain ATP shifts from 1/3rd glucose to fully glucose. Carbohydrates literally make you perform better both cognitively and physically.
