When you hop on testosterone, there is a fair chance you will run into some side effects which could potentially descend you temporarily. I want to briefly mention a few principles to keep in mind before you make the same mistakes as me.
Skin health
When taking exogenous testosterone, often between 200-500mg, your sebaceous glands get upregulated like crazy because of the testosterone conversion into dht. The upregulation causes more chances of blocked pores and more sebum secretion all over. This is extremely annoying but it can be managed quite easily.
To control the sebum production, you can take either accutane or dutasteride.
Accutane shrinks pores everywhere so oil physically cannot get through as much and also clears your skin.
Dutasteride blocks the type of dht responsible for sebum production so you get less oil and also saving your hairline from the norwood reaper.
Combining both would be great but it can start to get quite expensive quickly.
Bloat
Testosterone increase aldosterone which binds with electrolytes notably sodium which causes more water storage making the puffy look.
This can also be managed quite easily with diuretics or other AAS.
I recommend epleranone > hctz but both can be stacked to negate any side effects like high or low potassium.
Compounds such as tren and mast and winstrol can also cause a leaned out dry look and cause you to shed loads of water weight which gets rid of any bloat.
Another cause of bloating/ weight gain is estrogen which can be easily managed with an aromatase inhibitor or simply lowering the dose of test and stacking it with a non aromatising androgen. Mast and primo can also act as SERMs and almost disable estrogen from working, but this is highly debated so everyone has a diff opinion.
Key takeaways
-Even if you have clear skin, use accutane to prevent any excess oil or any chance of getting acne
-Don’t use too much test, just stack with other compounds
