This thread is done by myself, from my own experience
Everyone should know what pores in the facial area do, if you dont, read this spoiler first.
Excess sebum production: Oily skin types are more prone to enlarged pores due to higher sebum output from the sebaceous glands.
Decreased skin elasticity: Over time, the skin loses collagen and elastin, reducing its ability to keep pores tight. This is the main cause of enlarged pores from age 50 onwards, as gravity and skin laxity cause the pores to stretch and become more visible, often taking on a “teardrop” or “Y” shape.
Sun damage: Prolonged sun exposure can break down collagen and elastin, contributing to enlarged pores.
Genetics: Genetic predisposition plays a key role in determining pore size and visibility.

The Differences between Pore types
Theres three Pore types to be exact
1.Clogged Pores: They contain sebum, dead skin cells and dirt, giving them a darker appearance
2. Age related enlarged Pores: These develop due to the natural loss of elasticity and collagen in the skin
3. Y-shaped Pores: Caused by sun damage and collagen loss around the pore walls

Im now going to tell you step by step how to close/fix them
Clogged Pores: From my own experience, clogged pores are the easiest to deal with, first i would definitely recommend you spending money on good face wash to help removing dirt, excess sebum, and dead skin cells that cause blockages. Heres the products that i use for cleansing
YOU should definitely invest in a double cleansing routine
. The oil wash balances the natural oils in ur face (highly recommended), deeply cleanses pores, makes pores appeal smaller, and prevents future blockages. The bha face wash gently exfoliates skin surface, helps recude blackheads and breakouts and soothes+hydrates the skin.
ive used them both for a pretty long time and i cant complain, they do what you expect if u use them daily.
Now, after the cleansing routine, i use Benzolyperoxide (Benzaknen) 10%
This is my personal favourite, im using it since 2 months now and havent gotten any breakouts nor inflammation
(highly recommended)
It kills acne causing bacterias, through making ur skin a oxygen-rich environment, this kills the acne helping bacteria known as
Cutibacterium acnes
(also, Benzolyperoxide doesnt cause bacterial resistance)
Side effects:
Dryness -> use a hydrating cream afterwards, havent had any problems
Redness -> dont overdo it, once per day is fine
Skin irritation -> if u go outside, use a spf50 sunscreen
Bleaching of fabrics (towels, pillowcases) -> just dont be stupid and smear it on ur clothes or towels
Age related enlarged pores:
dont really know what i should say, age pill will eventually get any of us, pin ghk-cu if u cant produce collagen or stop smoking
Y-shaped pores:
This is what they look like, you get them from being way too long in the sun
if you have them, i would consider
retinoid, niacinamide, and a good sunscreen (dont use that shit daily tho)

How to get rid of pores fast if u dont want to wait and have a good amount of money
so, if u have a good amount of money, you should be considered in buying a microneedling pen
to go with it, u can buy the Ordinary aha+bha peeling
Where and How to do it:
in the
forehead area you should go 0,25mm
(watch out for the danger zone, dont go too deep)
apply the peeling (the ordinary or something of ur choice) in that area and gently tap it in
in the midface area you should go 1mm, nothing above or less
apply the peeling (the ordinary or something of ur choice) in that area, you dont have to do it gently here, do it however you want idc
in the chin area ive always done like 0.5mm or or 0.75mm, you choose
same process, just do it a bit more gentle here
in the end, ive always used arnika to help with the swelling and redness
