So basically around a year ago I switched ortho places and the place I switched from recommended a palate expander, however this new place said there’s no need for one but they recommended me a herbst device. Both of my parents already agreed to letting me get one but I’m scared the ortho will just say no. Any tips?

Change it again bro, better to pay more for your ortho(i reckon you from the us) and doing allat of car ride than to get perma fucked and having a shittier base for surgery (if you want to) or just look shitty

ur smile is decent ur lips themselves are not wide thats prolly why u think ur palete is narrow

Yo wait idk if having a paletal expander after your herbst could fuck up your teeth. I'm not sure, after your herbst try talking with your ortho if it can help you or not(also make your own research on it), you could try but there could be risks. Keep mewing brah and I say this cause I don't want to be 100% the cause of a guy's downfall.

It's cause i'm not sure about herbst then paletal expander, I never got malocclusion so what I said could have risks of harming your face dyor(go on google, reddit or smth). But I do think that herbst then paletal expander could help, it's just kinda weird in this order(most of the time it's expansion then alignement, but again it's non-malocclusion ppl so my opinion is not 100% verified). Do Your Own Research and ask your ortho. gl

Try to see ppl that got the same thing as you on the internet (like wanting an expander after herbst), but herbst does look promising

i just turned 15 like today just lock in bruh im getting my mse in 4 days um lock in ig and like it only has a major impact if you have a narrow palate and if you dont know if you have a narrow palate or not your just a retard
