Why do all these looksmaxxers hate tapers or actual haircuts? Is it just cause all the famous chads have longer grown out hair?

Some people genuinely look better with a taper on the sides + back and a fringe on top, more appeal imo. Some people look ass with longer hair especially if it’s straight on the sideburns / back.
