I recently proposed the idea of this to Godveil Heir , who approved. So heres a basic run down.

Why I made this​

The reason I proposed this idea is because with the recent removal of the General Chatroom and the updated Low-Qual Threads rule, there isn't really anywhere for people to vent, rant, or share without their thread being considered low quality and them having warning points added onto their account which may lead them to not want to post again. Hence, I've made this Mega-Thread.

Rules​

These rules I put forth should be pretty simple to understand, I will include a basic explanation below each rule.

Do not:

• Spam posts
Includes spamming posts to increase post count
• Farm or trade rep
The rep system is there to be earned, not for boosting clout
• No gore/animal abuse
You will have your account dealt with permanently
• Follow forum rules
Quite Self-explanatory.

Misc. Information​

This mega-thread is here to help people avoid warning points on their profile, post rants, post memes, use it to your advantage. If you are caught using this mega-thread to farm posts, you will be dealt with at the moderations team discretion. Lastly, this mega-thread may only be temporary until General Chatroom returns. Also, post at your own discretion, anything you think that may get you banned or added warning points then do not post it.

It's probably the last. Seeing multiple threads being deleted, users being banned in such a short time just demotivates people. But it's deff a combination of multiple reasons.

could be, and most of ur mods are also in NA timezone/EST (i think) so if a raid were to happen in gmt it probably wouldnt be stopped for a while, unless they lurk 24/7

a new “general chat” instead of a megathread would be so much better, or just a whole channel for shitposts where u dont gain posts or rep (kind of like general, but u post stuff, and u wont gain posts in stats on ur profile) it may seem retarded but it could be helpful to others
