Accidentally got 0.05 Tretinoin around my orbital’s / Upper eyelid now it’s kinda red and irritated, been like 2 days how do I resolve this problem or should I just wait it out

this is most likely a temporary irritation/retinoid burn from tretinoin migrating onto thin eyelid skin, and it usually resolves on its own with barrier repair and time.


So:


  • stop tretinoin near the eyes for now,
  • use gentle moisturizer + maybe a little Vaseline/Aquaphor,
  • avoid other irritating skincare,
  • give it a few days.

Got the same thing lmfao, should I apply Vaseline onto the top of my eyelid?
