doesn't ai only reduce circulating estradiol? so the main mechanism would still be present and even after taking AI, baseline E2 activity will be there
but supraphysiologic androgens themselves shift electrolytes/n2 balance/RAAS tone so even with controlled E2 you can get mild extracellular fluid expansion

maybe he's early on a cycle or is taking a high dose idk

Reduces aromatase which is how androgens change into e2. Would still have other sources of e2 but would be low.
